Spot Or Not People!? Weeks 8 & 9 (sorry)

Hiya guys and gals, I'm sorry I haven't posted anything for a while but I've been a little busy and I also have actually been struggling to find spots. But I did ask ou to help me with that didn't I tut tut.

So we'll start on week 8 obviously, and part of the reason I hadn't posted this one when I should have is because I really struggled trying to get the two pictures I needed. So I'm sorry but I only have the one for this weeks. However I think it is the better part of the two, so.

Here we go a nice road gap. I'm sorry but what more is there to say.

So I guess that's it for week 8. Lets move on to week 9.

This spot I delayed going to purely because every time I had a chance to get it, it usually was at ridiculous o clock in the morning and who knows who could be here. You'll understand in just a second.

This people is week 9's spot. A nice dodgy ally a bit tucked away.
But look at it I think some good skating could be done here just look, it's like a mini ramp all the way along both sides...

It has a risky little gap...

And once you're all finished you can fly up the wall and shoot out.

So there we have it. I'm sorry for the delay, but I hope you liked them and please tell me...

Spot Or Not People!? Week 7

What's up guys n gals. This week I have two spots to show you, only because they are fairly similar.
The thing is with these ones are that there fairly simple, so I'm sorry in advance but there won't be too much to say about these.

The first one is this nice inclosed flat ground space with this benched tree pot thing and way in the distance to the left a bit, is a small bench.

The second like I said is very similar with its nice flat ground, however this is quite open. It also has some rails surrounding the tree and a tiny two set round two sides of this square.

That's it really, short and sweet I guess. So it's up to you now guys...

Other inspiring stuff.

Hiya people, how we doing. Recently on my walks round London I noticed a few things and people that caught my eye, but obviously in a way that I could use on a skateboard of course. So these four pictures that I've taken are probably the first of many, however the first that are being posted really gave me some possible future ideas for skateboards and perhaps even some t-shirt ideas.

I first took a picture of these two policeman just having a stroll down the road chatting away and thought that whats not better than to capture England's finest (but not in some people's eyes) help to our capital and neighbour hood for many.

The next two pictures are a couple of the most typical things you'd see up London which are the red phone booth and the black cab, which I believe to be inspiring to anyone who sees them.

The last one I must admit is my personal favourite inspired picture even though it is a picture of a homeless guy and his dog. But this man is consistent. Everyday he sits outside tescos with his dog begging to provide for his dog first before himself. It is sad however he seems to be a cool guy at heart and I suppose influences me and others to try hard yet enjoy and be happy about the little things in life.
Good on him.

So these are my first four influential photos to do with the every day things. Hope you enjoyed them and I hope you look forward to more photos to come and possible new skateboard designs. Ta very much :)

Spot Or Not People!? Week 6

Week 6 of Spot Or Not People!? How are we all doing. Bit disappointed that no ones sent any spots or videos in, I was looking forward to them. Anyway moving on I've got another good one I think but it's not up to me it's up to you!

This is the British library, London. However be warned, if you do ever want to skate this expect to be kicked out at some point. Other than that, kick ass!

To start with we have two sets one after the other, the second with a rail if you have any ideas, but as you can see they're quiet long so jump high and fast. And don't worry these people will not be there.

Next up two cool benches inline with the sets. What more can I say.

Then a few little bollardy seat things.

And last but not least one last set which also has a rail.

There you go week six

Videos 8D

Wos hapning people.  Today I'm talking about skate videos. You've already seen my one, but if you haven't here's the link its called A day in the life of... Ant abbey. As you can see its probably the worst video you've ever seen however it shows the fun and love I have for skateboarding. That's been over a year now and have learned a few more tricks since then, so I'm hoping to get a new one made soon and most likely with my good friend Will Miall.

Will is one of my best mates and has in a way inspired me as he probably is in my eyes one of the best skaters that I personally know. This is also the guy that I had sold the banana deck to that I posted at the beginning of the blog if you remember. He always enjoys him self and we always have a laugh whilst skating. Yes he can shout a bit if he can't land a trick but don't we all sometimes. He and I have always said that to enjoy and have fun when skating is the main and most important thing, but If you're not enjoying it and you moan all the time then I think you need to stop. I can't stand people who have to shout all the time it does my head in. Just stop being a twat and calm down. It's depressing quite frankly. Any way back to will. Here's a little video that he'd made a few years ago I really enjoyed this and I hope you do too. So here you are Will miall's skate footage. So I think now wether he likes it or not he shall always be part of any LOUD skate team going. Cheers mate :) But getting on to teams and stuff now brings me on to this...

With the help of will and other friends I am hoping to get a new video made and eventually start getting a team sorted to really try and promote and spread the skating love to the world and you know what, I would love to see your skate videos too and If I think they're really good and I can see the passion and enjoyment in them, you can consider your self in my unofficial LOUD skate team until made official that is, where I will then start looking for the best enjoyable videos you can get.

If you do want to send me your videos, please post them on my Facebook page LOUD skateboards. I would love to see them and I'm sure everyone else would too. I am really looking forward to seeing what you got.

I've also noticed this post is a bit bland so here's a random picture of one of my favourite boards to ride. Isn't she a beaut. ❤

Spot Or Not People!? Week 5

So it's Spot Or Not People!? Week 5 however I'm sorry it's a bit late but I'm sure you're gonna love this one.

It's at euston station in yet again, London. But there are just so many good spots round there if you're looking, and at this particular spot there are quite a few things to skate so I won't keep going on about it and get down to business.

First up a cool angled but curved wall bank thing. And literally just round the corner if got enough speed a ledge at the end of a slope.

Now if you follow the first curved wall it then leads on to this long wall with a curved centre.

At the end there's small but rather wide (ewer) ;) set but at the left side one of the sloped walls which could be used for something I'm sure. And the set is long but I obviously needed to get that wall in so I'm sure you understand.

In the last picture you can see a strange silver object, and here it is. All the way round it has this perfect marbled base.

Last but not least another small set just round the corner of that bizarre sculpture.

There we have it. Again sorry it's late but this Sundays spot will be on time and another good one I think. But it's not up to me so here it is Spot Or Not People!?

Also if you find any good spots be sure to send them to my Facebook page for all others to see. Looking forward to it. :D

The other Christmas present.

Hey y'all. You've seen the previous skateboard that I uploaded which I did for Christmas, and well, there was a second I had to do as Christmas present. however I knew the guy it was for so it had to wait before putting it on here for all to see, and now he's seen it it's time.

I call it 'ad da toilette'. A nice custom, fairly humours yet random skateboard of a toilet (influenced by my own might I add), and knowing who it's for added a nice little present if you will in the pan. Despite this, when I rang him he loved it and quoted "I can't stop looking at it" simple yet incredibly appreciated good feedback. Another satisfied customer. Just what I like to hear! :D

Here is the board also with a few close ups of the more important parts of the board.

The toilet itself with the present I mentioned earlier.

And the tank with chain and toilet brand name.

There you have it what do you think? :)
